Open Access Policy

The International Journal of Molecular Oncology (IJMO) is in a pure open-access publishing format, meaning that all of its scholarly articles are free of charge to the global population free of financial or subscription costs. In our opinion, scientific knowledge, particularly the field that has impact on healthcare and patient outcome should be made accessible to all people; to researchers, clinicians, students, and other people in general.

Free and Immediate Access

  • Articles published are all made available on publication.

  • Articles can be read, downloaded, copied and distributed by the reader without registration or subscription.

  • The concept of open access is equally applied to all the types of articles published by the journal.

  • No access limitations and paywalls.

The method assists in making research more visible to a broader audience and promotes academic collaboration as well as making the work of authors more visible and influential.

Independence and Quality of Editorials

IJMO is also very strict in terms of academic and ethical standards despite the open-access model. The access should not affect the editorial decisions and the integrity of the review process.

  • All the manuscripts are peer reviewed anonymously.

  • Scientific merit, originality, and clarity are some of the editorial criteria.

  • Acceptance and rejection are not influenced by open-access status.

  • It applies the same benchmarks of quality to all submissions.

We have always prioritized the publication of high-quality, well-conducted research that is relevant in the field of molecular oncology.

Author Rights and Licensing

The issue of copyright and licensing is well put in place during the time of publication so as to create transparency as well as proper utilization of published work.

  • Authors who write articles have the right to their intellectual property in accordance with the terms of the journal licensing.

  • Third parties and the readers are allowed to reuse the content within the specified license only.

  • It must always be well attributed to the original authors and the source.

  • The complete understanding of licensing is enclosed in the Author Guidelines section.

Supporting Open Knowledge

IJMO’s open-access policy supports both communicating between researchers and sharing scientific knowledge worldwide, as well as providing equitable access to cancer research for all people around the world. This collaboration across borders accelerates discovery, provides an opportunity for research findings to be applied to education, innovation, and health care in real time.

The concept of Open access at IJMO is not merely the idea of availability but the wider philosophy of transparency, academic accountability, and the development of molecular oncology in the interest of the global community.
